Beginning in Fall 2019, I was a member of College Park Scholars, a living-learning community at the University of Maryland. Specifically, I participated in the Public Leadership program. This program includes policy classes, colloquia, service learning, residential life activities, and a practicum requirement. For my practicum, I chose to complete ENGL388V, an undergraduate teaching assistantship in English.

Throughout my time in Scholars, I had the opportunity to develop academically, such as in my writing. I had the opportunity to develop socially, living in a dorm with many of my classmates. Finally, I had the opportunity to develop professionally by exploring my potential career interests.
